This page documents my experience participating in a Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program between grades pre-K and 5th grade. Included are some pictures and records I still possess.
It is not intended as a comprehensive history of GATE programs nationwide, nor does it attempt to explain every theory or claim surrounding them. It is simply my firsthand account, supported where possible by documentation.
The GATE Program: My Personal Experience (1977 to 1984)
